Migratory birds
and their threats,
Every year millions of birds migrate from one place to another due to lack of food and climatic conditions. Therefore, these birds are called migratory birds.#wildlife #nature #wildlifephotography
This migration of these birds takes place at the beginning of winter. When the lakes and plains of the North Pole are covered with ice. Because of this, the habitat and food of these birds ends. Due to such conditions, these birds are forced to migrate to warmer areas.
These eight bird migration routes have the status of International Flyways. A large number of these migratory birds are from Russia and Siberia. which come to Pakistan through Tajikistan and Afghanistan. This route is called the Indus Flyway. Using this route, these birds travel along the Indus River to Sindh province. Because there are many water bodies in Sindh province. These birds make their temporary habitat in these water bodies.
Apart from this, the gardens found in the province of Sindh and the long coastal belt along with the provinces of Sindh and Balochistan are also the habitat of these birds. According to wildlife experts, 50 percent of the birds coming from Russia and Siberia make Sindh and Balochistan their temporary habitat. For this reason, the lakes and coastline of Sindh province are of great importance internationally.
These migratory birds are very attractive to the common man and especially to the wildlife enthusiasts. When these birds fly in flocks in the sky. So they make the viewers fall under their spell. And they also make the scene attractive where they land. Therefore, wildlife photographers eagerly wait for these scenes.
Illegal hunting of these migratory birds has increased a lot in the last few years. Because no attention was given in this matter. Nor is the required manpower available to prevent poaching. Therefore, these birds cannot return in large numbers. There are also very rare birds that are hunted and their species are now in danger. If this issue is not addressed, the world may lose these beautiful landscapes in the next few years.
